Free: Embed and Send YouTube Videos Without Ever Leaving Gmail!

Whether you create videos yourself, use a professional videographer, or use an inexpensive, AI-powered service like Lumen5, video content is everywhere you look. It’s proliferated throughout our screen culture because it creates unique and impactful neural pathways that connects the viewer to whatever you’re showing them. This makes it a key tool for anyone with a message they want to disseminate.

Now, if you’ve ever made any videos, you probably know the power of YouTube. YouTube makes it easy to share your videos on your website, social media profiles, and maybe even in some paid advertising.

But we’ve noticed that it’s very difficult to embed your YouTube videos in your email. In fact, we counted that it takes 7 steps to embed a video into your email, and the workflow is distracting because it takes you out of Gmail.

That’s why we developed the Embed YouTube Videos in Gmail Chrome extension. Now you can attach YouTube videos to emails without ever having to leave Gmail.

Whether you want to attach a new promo, a sample of your work, a product demo, or just send a funny cat video to your sister, we’ve made it easier than ever before. It saves you a lot of time, and helps you organize all of your YouTube videos.

Here’s how to use it in three easy steps:

Step 1: Get the Chrome Extension

Click here to go to the Chrome Store.

Click the +ADD TO CHROME button, then click Add Extension in the popup pane. Your inbox will automatically reload, and you’re ready to go.

Step 2: Pick a Video

To get started, click Compose on your inbox screen, as you would with any email. You’ll notice a new YouTube Icon in the toolbar at the bottom of your composition pane.

Click the YouTube icon. A menu pane will open up, like this:

Use this menu to select your video. The Recent Videos tab will show videos you’ve recently browsed. The YouTube Videos tab gives you two options in a dropdown. My Videos will automatically show a grid menu of all videos in your linked YouTube channel. You can also select All Videos, which will let you search all public videos on YouTube.

Step 3: Embed YouTube Video in your email

Once you’ve found the video you want to include in your email, just click on it. That’s it! Whatever video you selected will be automatically inserted into your email, like so:

Now just finish your email as you normally would and click send!
