Instructions to setup sync between Google Docs and Basecamp

Google Docs and Basecamp

  • If you are a new cloudHQ user click “Sign up Now” button
  • Select “Use Google Gmail ID” to create an account and 
  • Click “Create Account” button
  • cloudHQ is requesting permissions to access your Google account
  • Select an account that you would like to use
  • Click “Continue” button
  • Do you want to configure synchronization and replication?
  • Click “Yes” button

Click “Google Docs” image button to add Google Docs service to cloudHQ

  • Select “I want to add Google Apps for personal use
  • Click “Add Google Account” button
  • cloudHQ is requesting permissions to access your Google account
  • Select an account that you would like to use
  • Click “Continue” button
  • cloudHQ is requesting access for Google Docs products
  • Click “Grant access” button
  • Browse Goggle Docs folders
  • Select Goggle Docs folder
  • Click “Select Folder” button
  • Click “Basecamp” image button to add Basecamp service to cloudHQ
  • Type Basecamp account URL
  • Type Basecamp user name
  • Type Basecamp password
  • Click “Add Basecamp Account” button
  • Browse Basecamp projects
  • Select Basecamp files folder
  • Click “Select Folder” button
  • Click “Start Realtime Continuous Synchronization” button.
  • Real time synchronization is started
  • Click link to see synchronization console
  • Synchronization is running
  • Sync folders (Google Docs and Basecamp) are visible.
