How to Block Email Tracking in Gmail
Email Privacy Protector: Is My Email Tracked? is a free add-on for Gmail that’s available from the Chrome Web store.
To install, click “Add to Chrome.” The process usually takes less than a second.
Once you’ve installed the blocker, you’ll see notifications in your emails telling you if a company is using a tracker, and we think you’ll be surprised when you see just how many of them do.
You do not have to actively block email tracking. It will happen automatically after you’ve installed the tool in Gmail.
Your Gmail will work normally—and any identified trackers will be blocked automatically.
